Spinners:

While Rieskamp Equipment has the capability to provide spinners, and has installed them in the past. We highly recommend avoiding spinners due to the following reasons:

   1. Vehicles can be cleaned as well or better without spinners.

   2. Spinners frequently leave swirl marks on the vehicle.

   3. An increase in moving parts will result in increased maintenance and repairs and    increased down time.

   4. Repairs to components of this nature are inherently expensive. Many of our    competitors spinners cost approximately $2,000 to replace.

   5.Since the nozzles are the components closest to the vehicle, they will sustain the    most damage in the event that a vehicle leaves the intended path of travel.

   6.If heavy metal objects are used to protect the spinner, the result will be a seriously    damaged unit.

While damage to a wash system due to a vehicle straying off course is not an everyday occurrence, it can and does happen. The Rieskamp System is typically repaired easily, quickly and economically compared to spinner systems. Also keep in mind that this type of repair is not under warranty.
