Rieskamp Equipment Company, Inc. has been exclusively
designing, manufacturing, installing and servicing drive-through
wash systems for large vehicles (trucks, trains, buses,
planes, missiles and tanks) domestically and internationally
for over 39 years. We provide equipment that cleans vehicles
in under two (2) minutes. We believe with the right combination
of high pressure, hot water and properly formulated cleaning
products, we create the maximum effective wash system.
In 1967, the first Rieskamp wash system was installed
at Stokely Van Camp company in Indianapolis, Indiana
to speed up the washing of their fleet trucks. With the
installation of this system, Stokely could then wash
their entire fleet of trucks in one day versus the normal
three-day period. In 1976, AMTRAK contracted Rieskamp
to build the first brushless train washer for their Turbo
Train. The results were so outstanding that CONRAIL soon
contracted to build a washer for their yard to wash its
locomotives.
In 1980, The United States Department
of Transportation Mass Transit Board compiled a report
on Rieskamp's
equipment versus the older brush-type models. The report
stated
that Rieskamp's brushless equipment was "state
of the art" eliminating the normal damage to buses
by the brushes: e.g., damage to glass, mirrors and
paint.
We continue to grow today due to our dedication to quality
products and customer service. It is our goal to maintain
our position as the authority in matters relating to
our field of expertise far into the future.
